According to the data, the main reason is a good salary, mentioned by 33% of the respondents. The second most popular answer is the large number of vacancies, chosen by 25% of teenagers. In addition, 20% appreciate the possibility of working from home. It is worth noting that these practical advantages are much more important to the respondents than creative work and constant professional development, which account for 14% and 8% respectively. In my view, this may mean that teenagers are primarily concerned about financial security.
However, some IT jobs can cause health problems because employees spend long hours sitting in front of a computer. They may also feel isolated when working remotely. To solve this problem, companies should provide regular breaks, ergonomic workplaces and opportunities for face-to-face communication. Employees should also exercise and plan their working day carefully.
To sum up, I believe that IT plays a crucial role in the modern world. It helps people communicate, study and work more efficiently. Although an IT career can be demanding, its advantages make it a very attractive choice for young people.
