Говорение - Английский - Задание 1 (ФИПИ)
Task 1. Imagine that you are preparing a project with your friend. You have found some interesting material for the presentation and you want to read this text to your friend. You have 1.5 minutes to read the text silently, then be ready to read it out aloud. You will not have more than 1.5 minutes to read it.
Our planet has five large oceans. In fact, the Earth's surface is more than two thirds water. Our oceans are so huge and deep that many of their parts still remain unexplored. Some parts of oceans have little or no life, but others are bursting with activity.
Oceans are divided into zones according to depth. The tidal zone is the shallowest one. It's basically the area where the land meets the sea. It's a tricky place to survive with a constant battering by wind and water, but plants still thrive there. Then comes the open ocean. The next zone is called the twilight zone which is far below the sunlit surface areas. There is very little life there, but some creatures still survive even in these conditions. Then comes the dark zone. No light hits this region, but there is still life there. The final zone is the ocean's deep dark trenches. People know very little about these mysterious areas.
