Образец ответа: In my project, I am going to analyse why some Zetlanders refuse to go to work by bicycle and express my opinion on the best way of getting around a big city.
According to the table, the most common reason is that the workplace is too far away. It is mentioned by 49% of respondents. Unfavourable climate conditions come second, with 24% of the answers. In addition, 13% of the people complain about the lack of roads with bicycle lanes.
It is worth noting that the first reason is more than twice as common as the second one. At the same time, few bicycle parking lots and too many cars are a problem for only 8% and 6% of those polled respectively. This may mean that distance and weather are more important than urban infrastructure.
One problem connected with cycling in a big city is the risk of an accident because of heavy traffic. The local authorities should build more separate bicycle lanes and provide secure parking areas near offices and underground stations. This would make cycling safer and more convenient.
In my opinion, public transport is the best way of getting around a big city because it is fast and suitable for long distances. However, bicycles are a good alternative for short journeys, especially if the city has proper infrastructure.
