Study the two photographs. In 1.5 minutes be ready to compare and contrast the photographs. Give a brief description of the photos, say what the pictures have in common, say in what way the pictures are different, say which way of studying presented in the pictures you prefer, and explain why. You will speak for not more than 2 minutes. Your answer should contain 12–15 sentences. You have to talk continuously.

The pictures show two different ways of studying. In the first photo, a young man and a girl are sitting together and reading a textbook. They are probably discussing some information. They are indoors, perhaps in a classroom or at home. In the second picture, a girl is studying alone at a table. She is using a laptop, books and notebooks. Both photos are connected with education and show young people preparing for their studies. However, the ways of studying are different. In the first photo, the students work together and can exchange ideas. In the second photo, the girl studies independently and chooses her own pace. Personally, I prefer studying with another person. It is easier to understand difficult topics when you can ask questions and discuss them. Nevertheless, studying alone can be more convenient when you need peace and concentration.
