A possible answer: Hi, Mike! I have chosen two photos for our project about professions. The first picture shows an experienced teacher standing in front of a blackboard and explaining something to his students. The second photo shows two mechanics repairing a car. The main difference is that the teacher works with information and people, while the mechanics work with machines and tools. One advantage of being a teacher is that you can help young people and make a real difference in their lives. Another advantage is that this profession is intellectually stimulating. However, teachers often have to work after classes and deal with a lot of responsibility. Mechanics, in their turn, can always find clients because cars often need repairs. Besides, they solve practical problems and can see the immediate result of their work. On the other hand, this job can be physically demanding, noisy and dirty. Personally, I would prefer to be a teacher because I enjoy communicating with people and explaining difficult things. I think it is a rewarding profession despite its disadvantages. That is all I wanted to say about our project.
