Hi, I’ve found two interesting illustrations for our project on communication. In the first photo, there is a young woman talking on a mobile phone. In the second picture, two teenagers are walking and talking to each other face to face. The main difference is that the woman communicates remotely, while the teenagers are together in the same place. Phone calls are convenient because people can keep in touch over long distances. They also save time and make it possible to contact someone almost immediately. However, a phone conversation may be interrupted by a poor connection. Besides, it is impossible to see the other person’s facial expressions. Face-to-face communication is more emotional and personal. It also helps people understand each other better through gestures and body language. On the other hand, meeting in person can be difficult when people live far away. It may also take more time to arrange a meeting. Personally, I prefer communicating face to face because it feels more natural and sincere. Nevertheless, I use phone calls when I need to contact someone quickly.
