Nowadays, many people discuss whether doing sports is really necessary for young people. Some believe that it is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle, while others consider it an optional activity.

In my opinion, sports are essential for teenagers. First of all, regular physical activity improves health and helps prevent various diseases. Secondly, sport teaches young people to be disciplined because they have to train regularly and work towards a result. Finally, sports can help teenagers make friends and learn how to cooperate with other people, especially when they take part in team games.

However, some people argue that young people are already very busy with their studies and do not have enough time for sports. They also claim that training can be tiring and stressful. I cannot fully agree with this opinion. It is not necessary to spend several hours at a gym every day. Even short regular walks, swimming sessions or home exercises can improve a person’s physical condition. Moreover, sport often helps people feel more energetic and concentrate better on their studies.

In conclusion, I am convinced that doing sports is essential for young people. It makes them healthier, more disciplined and socially active, so every teenager should find a suitable kind of physical activity.
