Hello! I’ve chosen two photos for our school project “Solo or in company”. The first picture shows a young woman travelling alone and looking at a map in a beautiful city. The second photo depicts a group of friends hiking in the mountains. I think these illustrations are suitable because they show two different ways of travelling. Travelling alone gives you more freedom because you can choose your own route and timetable. It also helps you become more independent. However, a solo traveller may feel lonely and may not have anybody to help in an emergency. Travelling in company is usually more enjoyable because people can share their impressions and support each other. It can also be safer and cheaper if the travellers share the expenses. On the other hand, friends may argue about the route or have different interests. Personally, I would prefer travelling with friends because I like communicating with other people. Besides, shared experiences are often more exciting and memorable. What do you think about this idea?
