Secondly, clothes often help us behave according to a particular situation. People usually choose formal clothes for a job interview and are likely to act more seriously there. Finally, comfortable clothes can improve our mood and help us feel relaxed.
However, some people argue that clothes cannot change behaviour because it is determined by a person’s character, education and personal values. They also point out that people may wear expensive or fashionable clothes without becoming more polite or responsible.
Nevertheless, I do not completely agree with this opinion. Of course, clothes cannot transform a person’s personality. However, they can influence their feelings and confidence, and these factors affect behaviour. Moreover, other people’s reactions to a person’s appearance may also change the way this person communicates.
In conclusion, clothes are not the most important factor determining behaviour, but they can influence a person’s mood, confidence and actions in particular situations. Therefore, I believe that the statement is generally true.
