I’ve chosen photo number 1. The photo was taken at a school event last spring. It shows two children wearing blue graduation caps and gowns. They are standing near a large chessboard. There are many chess pieces on the table in front of them. The boy on the right is smiling at the camera. The other child is looking at the chessboard. They seem to be taking part in a school chess competition. The room looks comfortable and rather old-fashioned. I think the children have just finished a game. I keep this photo in my album because it reminds me of an exciting school day. It also shows an important moment in the children’s lives. I decided to show this picture to you because you are interested in chess. I am sure you would like the unusual chessboard and the atmosphere of the event.
