Choose one of the two projects and write an opinion essay based on the relevant data. Project 1 concerns why computer games are popular among teenagers in Zetland. Project 2 concerns why teenagers take a part-time job in Zetland. In your essay, comment on the data, make relevant comparisons, describe a possible problem and suggest a solution, and express your opinion on the role of computer games or part-time jobs in teenagers’ lives. Write 200–250 words.

For Project 1, the survey results are shown in the table. For Project 2, the survey results are as follows: getting pocket money — 40%, getting work experience — 24%, acquiring new skills — 14%, learning more about different jobs — 14%, testing oneself — 8%. Follow the plan: make an opening statement; report 2–3 facts; make 1–2 comparisons; outline a problem and suggest a solution; conclude with your opinion.
