Write a message to Kate and answer her three questions: What pets are most popular in your country? Do you approve of keeping wild animals as pets, why or why not? What pet do you have or would you like to have?

Hi Kate,
Thanks for your email. I think your friend’s hedgehog is really unusual! In my country, dogs and cats are the most popular pets because they are friendly and can live with people in flats or houses. However, I don’t approve of keeping wild animals as pets. They need special food, plenty of space and natural conditions, so they may feel unhappy at home. As for me, I have a lovely cat called Snowy. She is playful and always makes me laugh. If I could choose another pet, I would like to have a dog because dogs are loyal and active. What about your favourite animals?
