In my region, people can see wild animals such as foxes, hares, squirrels and deer. There are also many different birds in the forests. I do not think that keeping a wild animal as a pet is a good idea. Wild animals need special food, space and natural conditions. Besides, they can be dangerous and unhappy in a flat. People build zoos in cities and towns so that children and adults can learn more about animals. Zoos can also help scientists protect rare species and breed them. Personally, I think that modern zoos can be useful if animals are kept in large and comfortable enclosures. However, zoos must take good care of animals and respect their needs. In general, I support responsible zoos because they help people understand nature.
