Шешімі: Email About Coming Late
You have received an email message from your English-speaking pen-friend Emily. Last month Emily was late for her classes several times. Although she was not late on purpose and it was not actually her fault, she was punished. Write a message to Emily and answer her questions about whether students in your class sometimes come late to school, their usual reasons for being late, and punishment for latecomers at your school.
Write 100–120 words. Remember the rules of email writing.

Dear Emily,\n\nThanks for your email. I’m sorry that you were punished, although being late was not your fault. Some students in my class sometimes come late to school. The most common reasons are traffic jams, bad weather and oversleeping. Once a boy was late because his bus broke down. Usually, latecomers have to explain themselves to the teacher and write a note. If someone is late regularly, the class teacher talks to their parents. I think this punishment is fair because punctuality is important. Do you often have traffic jams in your town? What punishment did you get?\n\nWrite back soon.\n\nBest wishes,\nAlex
