Write 200–250 words. Follow the plan: introduce the problem by paraphrasing the statement; express your opinion and give 2–3 reasons; present an opposing opinion and give 1–2 reasons for it; explain why you disagree with the opposing opinion; make a conclusion restating your position.

5 шаговChoose one statement and paraphrase it in the introduction. For example, the first statement can be presented as a discussion of whether a foreign language is the most important subject at school.
State your position clearly and support it with two or three logically connected reasons and examples.
Present a reasonable opposing opinion, give one or two arguments in its favour, and then explain why these arguments do not change your position.
Finish with a conclusion that briefly restates your opinion without introducing new arguments.
Check the word count, paragraph structure, linking devices, grammar, spelling and agreement between the subject and the verb.
