Finally, a degree can increase a person's chances of finding a well-paid job. Nevertheless, some people argue that practical experience is more valuable than academic education. They point out that many successful entrepreneurs and specialists started working immediately after school. They also believe that online courses and professional training can replace university. I cannot completely agree with this opinion. Although practice is important, it is not always enough to build a strong professional foundation. Moreover, university gives students an opportunity to communicate with experts and make useful contacts. To sum up, university education is not compulsory for every young person, but it remains essential for those who want to work in many professional fields.
