Жауабы: Getting Around the City
Hi, I’ve found two photos for our project “Tastes differ” and I’d like to share the news. The first photo shows a young woman driving her own car. She looks happy and confident behind the wheel. In the second photo, there is a woman trying to stop a yellow taxi in a busy city street. I chose these pictures because they show two popular ways of getting around a city. The photos are different because in the first one a person drives a private car, while in the second one a passenger uses a taxi. Driving your own car is comfortable because you can choose your route and stop whenever you want. However, cars are expensive to buy and maintain, and traffic jams can waste a lot of time. A taxi is convenient because you do not have to drive or look for a parking place. On the other hand, taxi rides can be rather expensive, especially during rush hours. Personally, I would prefer using my own car because it gives me more freedom and independence. That’s all I wanted to tell you about the photos.
