Hi, I’m calling to tell you about the photos I’ve chosen for our project “An ideal weekend”. In the first photo, there is a young couple sitting in a cinema and watching a film. They look happy and are eating popcorn. In the second picture, we can see a family relaxing at home and watching TV together. I think these photos are suitable because they show two popular ways of spending a weekend. The main difference is that the people in the first photo have gone out, whereas the family in the second photo are staying at home. Going to the cinema is exciting and gives people a chance to see a new film on a big screen. However, cinema tickets can be expensive and the place may be crowded. A weekend at home is more comfortable and cheaper, and family members can choose any programme they like. On the other hand, watching TV at home can be boring and people may spend too much time sitting. Personally, I would prefer going to the cinema because I enjoy watching films with my friends and experiencing something special. What do you think? Call me back when you have time.
